This field‑based, business‑development, hands‑on clinical sales position requires a patient advocate with a drive and skill to positively represent Vie Med. The role identifies and initiates one‑on‑one dialogue with new referral sources and maintains positive relationships with existing sources. The candidate leverages clinical and sales expertise to develop sales strategies that drive our disease‑management program and respiratory products into וועט new markets, growing the business within the assigned territory.
The candidate spends 80% or more of the time in the field: networking, building relationships, and educating hospital referral sources—pulmonologists, hospitalists, critical‑care physicians, case managers, and social workers—on the benefits of our program.
- Market Vie Med’s disease‑management program to potential and existing referral sources
- Develop sales territory action plans and call strategies to maintain ongoing business and apply consultative, strategic selling skills to grow business in the territory
- Coordinate and provide educational presentations and in‑services for healthcare providers
- Maintain account activity, sales documentation, reports, and territory management
- Partner with all clinical, managerial, and sales staff to promote our home respiratory therapy services to referral sources and drive sales growth
- Work.endswith office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation, including coverage guidelines for third‑party payors
- Be available for patient contact and response to patient needs
- Maintain a performance level that meets or exceeds sales quotas
- Other duties/projects as assigned
- Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external referral sources in the territory
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with physicians and staff to address questions promptly
- Plan, implement, and execute strategies independently to achieve sales goals
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong commitment to results
- Build relationships with referral sources, patients, and caregivers
- Maintain strong organizational, priorit mwen, and territory management skills
- Be flexible, self‑driven, accountable for results, autonomous, yet supportive of team efforts
- Resourceful problem‑solver in a fast‑paced environment

- Provide three informal letters of recommendation from pulmonologists (required)
- Current, valid, active state driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in a healthcare setting and working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social Supported
- At least two years full‑life cycle healthcare sales experience from education on referral sources through follow‑up
- At least two years clinical liaison experience, preferably in LTACH-level care
- Previous marketing or LTACH marketing experience
- Previous clinical liaison experience with patient assessment skills
- Formal sales training preferred
