• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive guest service to restaurant guests and staff. Greet and welcome each guest entering the restaurant.
• Greet and acknowledge guests with a smile and eye contact; recognize repeat guests and address guests by surname.
• Build rapport with guests and guide them to their tables; assist with seating and accessibility needs.
• Coordinate with management and service staff; communicate guest complaints and compliments.
• Update management on guest flow, seating availability, and service status; rotate seating to balance service stations.
• Answer telephone calls, take reservations, and maintain current reservations per procedural guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of the company and relevant hotel policies and standards; provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests and colleagues.
• Support the team with flexible scheduling and late hours when necessary; comply with hotel rules and safety guidelines.
• Ensure complete knowledge of food and beverage items and communicate the Provenance style to guests.
• Contribute to hotel goals for increasing sales and improving profits; promote hotel functions and facilities.
• Submit lost and found items with the appropriate report to Housekeeping; maintain regular attendance in line with hotel standards.
• Attend mandatory meetings and stay informed about local area details relevant to guests and operations.
