On-Call Banquet Servers
to join our team.
This position is
very part-time and event-based
, with shifts scheduled on an as-needed basis. Monthly schedules are provided based on business needs and event bookings.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
.
The Hilton Fort Wayne is connected to the Grand Wayne Convention Center and serves as its exclusive catering partner under a long-term contract.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Set up functions according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including table setup, silverware placement, napkin folding, beverage preparation, and centerpiece placement.
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of linens, silverware, glassware, and banquet areas.
- Set tables correctly and uniformly and maintain professional buffet presentations.
- Greet and serve guests according to established service standards.
- Assist with all aspects of banquet service.
- Refresh function rooms during breaks and throughout events.
- Break down tables, chairs, stages, and equipment following events.
- Return equipment to designated storage areas in clean condition.
- Maintain a professional, positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, and fellow team members.
This is an
on-call, very part-time position
intended for individuals seeking flexible supplemental income. Work hours will vary based on event schedules and business demands.
