IT Manager - Workday

Job Overview

Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire an IT Manager‑Workday to work alongside and lead the IT Workday team. This role is responsible for defining the Workday technical roadmap, maintaining integrations and security, and developing team capabilities. The position collaborates cross‑functionally to ensure the platform’s scalability, stability, and alignment with enterprise goals.

• Oversee and test integrations across internal and external systems
• Oversee and manage Workday security configurations and compliance
• Define and maintain the technical roadmap for Workday
• Mentor and develop Workday team members
• Work with HR and finance to resolve technical issues and provide input on roadmap decisions
• Coordinate integration troubleshooting, addressing vendor‑related issues, and ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and other systems
• Assist the IT team in validating configuration changes and maintaining system integrity and compliance

• Experience with Workday Studio, EIBS, Core Connectors and Web Services
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Proven ability to manage enterprise‑wide systems and integrations
• Familiarity with semi‑annual release planning and testing cycles
• Workday Pro certification preferred
• Proficiency in Workday security and role‑based permissions management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to interface, train, and present to all levels of an organization
