Senior-Level Virtualization Engineer

Location: Offutt AFB, NE
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required

Kaimetrix is looking for a Senior-Level Virtualization Engineer to help design and manage next‑generation enterprise virtualization environments. This position supports highly available and scalable solutions built on hyper‑converged infrastructure to meet performance and security objectives.

• Design, configure, and maintain hyper‑converged infrastructure using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related technologies
• Manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments with Omnissa tools including Horizon, App Volumes, and Workspace ONE
• Optimize virtualization performance and reliability through resource planning, patching, and monitoring
• Participate in capacity planning and tech refresh initiatives to ensure infrastructure meets mission and service demands
• Document architectural designs and participate in change boards and production readiness reviews
• Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity and configuration management standards

• Minimum of 8 years of virtualization or systems engineering experience
• A Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years of experience; a Bachelor’s for 1 year

• VMware Certified Professional or equivalent intermediate‑level virtualization certification
