Senior Business Intelligence Analyst; Local

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst with 5+ years of experience to join our team onsite in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Local candidates only. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data analysis, database management, and business intelligence tools such as SSRS, SSIS, Power BI (or Tableau), and Qlik Sense. In this role, you will develop comprehensive reporting solutions with a focus on executive reporting and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports for business operations and decision-making.
• Design and manage ETL processes using SSIS to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (or Tableau) and Qlik Sense, focusing on executive-level reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Perform data analysis to ensure report accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing reporting solutions for performance improvements.
• Document and maintain reporting processes, data models, and system configurations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on reporting tools and solutions.

Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense, Power BI (or Tableau), SSRS, and SSIS.
• Strong SQL and database management skills, with experience in MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
• Proven ability to develop and manage interactive dashboards for executive reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of this position, it requires that candidates be United States citizens.
• Must know how to write report queries that tie into ETL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field required.
• 5+ years of experience required (10+ desired) in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
• Proven experience with SSRS, SSIS, Power BI (or Tableau), and Qlik Sense.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence processes.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce polished reports and dashboards.
• Experience with executive reporting and dashboard creation is highly preferred.
