Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Data Scientist Associate to work onsite in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This position offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

This onsite role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and an interest in distribution or operations-focused data environments. The Data Scientist Associate will perform basic data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that support management decision‑making. Responsibilities include data mining, auditing, aggregation, validation, and reconciliation. The role also involves building foundational reports, conducting introductory hypothesis testing, and working with tools such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, Power BI, and Cognos to interpret and visualize data.

• Assist with developing basic analytical tools to support solutions for high-value business challenges.
• Use analytical tools and data management methods to produce actionable business intelligence.
• Develop knowledge of business operations to provide meaningful analyses and identify data requirements.
• Support the creation of predictive and prescriptive analytics components that optimize operations.
• Apply data visualization techniques to enhance understanding of large datasets.
• Learn business processes and data acquisition workflows used across organizational units.
• Collaborate with technology teams to support data acquisition, integration, and management efforts.
• Help develop concise written reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate trends, variances, and status updates to the business.
• Work with business and technology partners to operationalize dashboards and reporting tools.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required.

Experience: No prior experience required. A combination of education and related experience may be considered.
