• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience, required.

• Primary for delegating and prioritizing day to day workload to CSA I and CSA II.
• Set priorities for operational scheduling for specific orders.
• Initiate forecast submission from customers for proper order management and review to identify order placement needs.
• Develop quotes based on the product specifications set by the customer.
• Coordinate order entry process upon receipt by communicating any special needs or material requirements to appropriate departments.
• Coordinate delivery of products, provide production lead times with delivery expectations, and handle documentation requirements.
• Communicate with customers regarding status and progress of orders. Monitor order’s progress through production as needed via ERP and collaborate with other internal departments that impact order movement.
• Handle incoming complaints by understating the issue and working with internal teams to find a resolution.
• Provide technical support and answer questions regarding the mechanical properties and/or capabilities of the products manufactured at Fort Wayne Metals (FWM). Incorporate Engineering support as necessary.
• Work with Accounts Receivables and customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure payments are received.
• Organize conversion services when necessary to meet the requirements of the customer’s order.
• Establish rapport, present information, and respond to customers. Build personal relationship with decision makers, influencers, and buyers at key accounts.
• Engage customers frequently, observe communication preferences and leverage voice, email, and written contact as aligned with these preferences. Identify opportunities to leverage FWM resources (PM, Engineer, R&D, management) and present business case for these resources to engage directly.
• Facilitate conference calls and/or customer visits between the customer and internal FWM representation based on the topic to be discussed.
• Develop territory trends that could affect sales, profitability, and/or growth and report findings to management. Identify customer behavior that may lead to loss of business and report information to management.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from customers.

• Formal and informal presentation skills.
• Must be thorough in executing work assignments, be detail oriented, organized, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with many variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
• Bilingual preferred for international assignments.

• Fast paced office environment.
• Overtime may sometimes be necessary.
• Travel may be necessary at times.
• Extensive amount of time spent at desk working on a computer and talking on the phone.
• Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors.
