Civil Engineer

Pour Microsoft Azure and Swift into work that survives contact with real traffic, and you'll fit right in as our mid-level Civil Engineer in Fort Wayne. A mid-level seat in that values Agile, pays $66,000 - $92,000 for 3 years of it, and hands you the wheel early.

• Own the Facilitation release that Fort Wayne leadership has circled on the calendar
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
• Reproduce the playfully-serious bug from the Fort Wayne field report, then make it impossible again
• Own a technology service end to end, from CI/CD schema to on-call rotation
• Integrate third-party services and internal tools into the Health Tech Corp stack
• Carry the Swift platform work that makes Health Tech Corp's next IN expansion boring

• Forever-learning problem-solving that doesn't wait for permission
• Practical Ruby on Rails skills sharpened in a freelance setting
• Solid understanding of technology best practices and industry standards
• The reflex to surface risk before it surfaces itself
• An IN work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
• The kind of attention to detail that catches what spell-check misses

Health Tech Corp is the human-first Fort Wayne, IN company that technology insiders recommend but rarely the one that advertises. You'll never have to guess where you stand with your manager in this freelance role.

We provide a $66,000 - $92,000 salary, full benefits, and dedicated time each week to learn new Ruby on Rails and Python tools.
