Policy Processing Technician – Personal Lines

North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for an individual to enter data from applications and endorsements, review policies for accuracy, assist in follow up tasks, and route incoming department calls to the proper underwriter.

Individuals that have an eye for detail, interact well with others, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and have the ability to learn a variety of internal computer systems are encouraged to apply.

Related education and/or experience is preferred. Previous insurance related experience for this position would be helpful, but is not required.

This is a full-time in-office position.

While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this entry-level position will start at $19.00 per hour. This role may be eligible for a merit increase at both the 3 month and 6-month mark and then annually thereafter and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan.

Starting Range $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
