Refrigeration Project Manager

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. – Join our team as a Project Manager for industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will pre‑plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources to deliver satisfied customers, increased productivity, and profitability.

• Maintain up‑to‑date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs.
• Work with the operations manager to ensure the labor plan is being carried out.
• Create mechanical schedules and man‑loading charts for all projects.
• Consistently submit accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change order quotations.
• Communicate with purchasing and the fabrication shop to secure schedules, scope, and pricing.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Construction/engineering based degree is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Project.
• Knowledge in generating and updating construction schedules (MS Project).
• Ability to read plans and ISO drawings for ordering material and estimating change orders.
• Ability to order, track, and expedite timely delivery of pipe valves, fittings, and specialty items to multiple locations.
• Self‑starter, good communication skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance, with ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
