We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects.

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Project Manager for our industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will be tasked to pre-plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources resulting in satisfied customer, increased productivity, and increased profitability.

• Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
• Work with operations manager to ensure labor plan is being carried out.
• Create Mechanical Schedule and Man loading charts on all projects.
• Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations.
• Communication with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope and price.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
• Construction/engineering based degree is a plus
• Willing to travel as required
• Experience with Microsoft office, Word, Excel and project
• Knowledge in generating construction schedule and updating of same (MS Project).
• Knowledge in reading plan and ISO drawings for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders.
• Ability to order, track, and expedite for timely delivery to multiple locations of pipe valves, fittings and specialty items required for the project.
• Self-starter
• Good Communication skills
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
