The production focuses mainly on Stainless Steels and Specialty Alloys, available in various forms such as blooms, billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars, and threaded rods, aiming to meet the most sophisticated customer needs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Interprets program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.

Performs diversified operations on numerical control machining centers.

Executes a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations with close and interrelated tolerances.

Reviews setup sheets and specifications to determine machining sequences and dimensions of finished work pieces.

Attaches fixtures to the machine bed and positions and secures work pieces according to setup instructions.

Selects and installs cutting tools in the machine spindle or magazine.

Manipulates controls and enters commands to set the cutting tool position and start the machine.

Observes and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Changes tools and adjusts workpiece positioning during machining as specified. Performs inspection and gauging to ensure quality standards and measures work pieces for conformance.

May operate equipment such as Overhead Crane, Heat Treat, Primary Mill, Forklift, and perform Finish Operations.

Notifies supervisor of discrepancies or issues.
