Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This role is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe fitting.



Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Work with CNC machines and mechanical presses to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform welding, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe fitting as required.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints to execute repairs and installations.
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Use electrical hand tools and measuring devices for accurate repair and diagnostics.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following proper procedures and regulations.
• Support production operations for maintenance requirements, including installations and emergency repairs.
• Perform routine safety inspections and maintain project documentation.

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in welding, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe fitting.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week with shift flexibility.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced experience with mechanical presses and CNC machines.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance strategies and equipment reliability.
• Knowledge of safety compliance and regulatory standards in manufacturing.
