JobPurpose
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee activities.
- Assist in all items associated with the quality system.
- Implement continuous improvements to the production program.
- Assist in employee problem response and resolution.
- Maintain customer quality standards; ensure the quality of production; take corrective actions as necessary.
- Meet production schedules, measure KPIs, and develop & implement countermeasures to meet KPIs.
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance.
- Monitor employee attendance and maintain attendance records.
- Administer provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Maintain discipline within the department.
- Keep daily timekeeping and production records.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing supervisory role.
- Knowledge of machine setup.
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
- Ability to lead projects.
- Assist in process improvements.
- Dedication to Total Quality and Continuous Improvement.
