About the RolePackers play an important role in our day‑to‑day operations; acting as the final line of defense before the product meets our customer, Packers are responsible for ensuring the product meets quality standards before packing our product and shipping it out to feed America.
Job Responsibilities & Duties- Check for defects: ensure product meets quality standards, inform operator of any product defects and float issue up the chain of command if needed.
- Package product: read and follow instructions on the work order, slide product into plastic bags, pack into boxes, assemble cardboard boxes that hold final product, attach labels on boxes to identify job number/product, stamp personal packer labels.
- Move inventory: use pallet jack to move pallets of boxes to appropriate area.
- Quality control: ensure cleanliness of area to prevent cross contamination.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts: from 5:30 – 5:30 or 6:00 – 6:00.
- Days and night shift available.
- 2‑2‑3 work schedule.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
