We are looking for a Saw Attendant to help keep production running smoothly by cutting and supplying raw materials to applicable work areas. This role is an important part of the manufacturing process and offers the opportunity to cross-train in other areas, including learning machining processes.
Shift: 1st, Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)
What You’ll Do:- Issue raw materials, including castings, forgings, and bar stock, to the appropriate work orders.
- Complete saw work to support production schedules and ensure materials are available when needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required cycle counts.
- Cross-train in other manufacturing areas as needed, which may include learning machining operations and using inspection equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, receiving, or material handling is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in other areas of production.
