Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW
The Wrapping position wraps wire per order requirements, completes paperwork, records and enters data, and communicates with supervisors & associates. This position maintains cleanliness of area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Rolls reel to jack and place on jack
- Welds new reel wire to previous reel ending
- Sets up machine per order requirements
- Frequently checks machining process for accuracy
- Uses and reads micrometers to measure wire
- Monitors processes & controls to assure quality, then properly completes labels
- Places completed reel in designated location, and communicate with supervisors & associates

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
- Entry level
License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
- Ability to use & read micrometers to measure wire, and use tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer
- Ability to follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of area
