Location:
Fort Wayne, IN
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Hours:
36 hours per week
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Call Requirement:
One weekend (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) every 8–9 weeks
Duration: 13 weeks
Maximum RTO: 1 week

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting and be skilled in circulating surgical cases across a variety of specialties. As part of the surgical team, you will manage all nursing care within the operating room, assist in maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and ensure optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Circulate and manage patient care for surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the OR team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, maintain sterile technique, and manage equipment and supplies during procedures.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and verifying all necessary instruments and materials are available.
- Support surgical procedures involving trauma, neuro-spine, cranial, pediatric, and orthopedic cases.
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers required.
- Experience with da Vinci Robot, neuro‑spine/cranial, pediatric OR, and ortho trauma cases required.
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
- Active Indiana RN license (or compact equivalent).
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
