Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Pay Range:

• ASN: $29.80 – $49.17/hour
• BSN: $31.80 – $51.17/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Schedule: Full-time, night shifts (three shifts per week)
Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend and as needed
Relocation: Not eligible

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience. The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring safe deliveries, supporting families, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

• Provide high-quality nursing care during all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal well-being, identifying and responding to complications.
• Support patient education and emotional needs throughout the childbirth process.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Offer education and guidance to new mothers and families.

• Diploma in Nursing or ASN/BSN degree required.
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license and current CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier weights as needed.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Additional certifications may be required for specific units or specialties.

• Prior experience in labor and delivery or women’s health.
• Advanced certifications in obstetric or neonatal care (preferred).
