Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice, which employs excellent diplomatic communication skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to collaborate with intra- and interdepartmental team members, as well as community organizations or members. A qualified candidate would be able to multitask and utilize critical thinking skills to best serve our patients.

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Shift from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional 7:00 am to 7:30 pm shifts, on a rotating basis (1:3). No call required.
• Work in an inpatient setting at PRMC.
• Primary work location at PRMC with some outreach clinics.
• Collaborate with 6 other neurology NPs and neurologists.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
• Perform procedures including intubations, arterial and central line placements, in collaboration with attending physicians for clinical rounds, family discussions, documentation, and procedural oversight.
• Manage acute ICU-level conditions such as stroke, recurrent seizures, neuromuscular emergencies, neuro-prognostication after cardiac arrest, and post-operative neurosurgical care.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional).
• Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Certifications as required by specialty (may include but are not limited to):

• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS/ACLS-EP
• PALS
• ATLS
• CSR
