American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and prior tele experience.

• Work on a fast-paced 37-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes post-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring per surgeon preference
• Patient ratio of 1 to 5
• Established order sets and protocols with a supportive team atmosphere
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required
• Cerner EMR preferred but not required

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide nursing care optimizing recovery for post-surgical patients
• Black or royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
