The position is under the supervision of a Pharmacist and involves refilling and replenishing prescription requests in an automated central fill pharmacy setting. The pharmacist technician prepares packages, distributes medications in a fast‑paced production environment, maintains quality and consistent workflow to meet daily production goals, and practices 200% Safety Accountability. Standard working hours consist of four 10.5‑hour shifts, scheduled from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday (Saturdays closed).

• Fill cells and bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules. Place pharmaceutical products in appropriate containers and affix labels to medication containers.
• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions for shipping (SOP for tote closeout).
• Follow established inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards for all products during safe transfer and storage.
• Read computer‑generated screens to locate merchandise on labeled shelves and verify size and strength before selecting an order.
• Select drugs from stock for preparation; count or pour pharmaceuticals.
• Restock and replenish medication in appropriate locations.
• Pack and sort completed prescription orders for preparation.
• Clean and maintain all cells.
• Keep the floor and work area clean and orderly.
• Receive purchase orders.
• Identify, verify item, quantity, and quality, and enter data into software via a laptop computer.
• Review products to be shipped against billing records to verify and document accuracy.
• Identify and verify item quantity against system records.

• State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Proven ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Intermediate computer and technology skills.
• Strong attendance and work record.
• Excellent attention to detail and concentration.
• Experience where accuracy and quality are the strict standard.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Works with pride in a job well done.
• Can lift approximately 20+ lbs.
• Fine motor hand function for detailed tasks.
