Potbelly started in 1977 and operates more than 400 shops across the United States. The goal is to make people happy through good vibes and delicious craveable food.

• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service and deliver a quality and consistent product in a clean and inviting environment.
• Demonstrate Potbelly’s values — integrity, teamwork, accountability, positive energy, coaching, and delivering results.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.) per Potbelly recipe standards.
• Comply with health, safety, and food safety standards; maintain personal hygiene and wear a clean Potbelly uniform.
• Fulfill orders accurately and quickly; handle waste according to procedures; engage customers with friendly conversation; act with urgency.
• Restock food lines, chips, and cooler; work multiple stations as directed (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front).
• Deliver catering orders as detailed in the Catering Driver and Delivery Agreement; operate the cash register and manage cash handling procedures.
• Handle customer complaints/issues effectively and take delivery/catering/pickup orders by phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years old; able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Friendly and customer-service oriented; strong verbal communication; neat hygiene.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; tolerate noise and potential allergens (peanuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, seafood).
• Ability to work as a team player; proficient in English (verbal and written); leadership behaviors aligned with Potbelly values.
• Ability to handle a knife confidently where required.
