Maumee River Roofing is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is responsible for supporting the sales team by identifying and nurturing leads, responding to inquiries, and converting potential clients to customers. This individual will work closely with the sales team to ensure that roofing projects are quoted accurately, customer concerns are addressed, and that follow‑ups are conducted promptly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a customer‑first attitude.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation and Nurturing:
Identify potential leads through inbound calls, emails, and marketing initiatives. Follow up on leads from prior and current sources (website, referrals, and online platforms). - Customer Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the sales process. Answer inquiries, provide information on roofing products and services, and guide customers through the decision‑making process. - Follow‑Up and Closing:
Actively follow up with prospects and overcome objections to close sales. - CRM Management:
Maintain detailed and accurate records in the company’s CRM system. Track leads, opportunities, and customer communications to ensure proper follow‑up. - Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service and support to customers before, during, and after sales to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. - Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales Manager and Marketing to align sales strategies, maintain a consistent message, and achieve company goals. - Sales Reporting:
Track sales metrics and report on performance to leadership. Identify trends and areas for improvement.
- No experience necessary! Full training provided.
- Goal‑driven with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) Accu Lynx would be a plus!
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence in handling inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Comfortable learning product information and explaining technical concepts simply.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or comparable software such as Microsoft Office.
