Security Officer

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments, is hiring for our Security Team. Our security officers will maintain and uphold a safe and secure environment for all Sweetwater employees and customers. The role includes monitoring security cameras, transporting artists, employees, and guests, and administering first aid/CPR to anyone that might need it in an emergency.

Please note this is a part‑time position. The schedule will be Friday & Saturday 11pm - 7am.

• Administer First Aid, CPR, or AED to anyone experiencing a medical emergency
• Navigate video security systems and monitor security cameras
• Oversee and monitor safety, security, and fire protection systems
• Responsible for processing and overseeing employee diner and music store purchases
• Monitor incoming and outgoing employees in the Distribution Center
• Transport musical artists, VIPs, special guests, and employees to and from the Sweetwater campus
• Administer Drug Screens for employees
• Secure perimeter of Sweetwater’s campus in patrol car
• Work in conjunction with commissioned police officers at Sweetwater

• High School Degree or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of security or public safety experience is preferred but not required
• Great team‑first attitude, and ability to follow directions clearly
• Willing to act immediately when a situation arises
• Must have high integrity and be willing to always do the right thing for all involved
• Valid Driver’s License

• Any prior Public Safety or Policing/Security experience
