• Patrol all areas of the facility, clinics, and grounds to deter suspicious activity.
• Assist visitors with directions, questions, and escort services as needed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for security risks.
• Investigate and document suspicious activities, safety concerns, and violations.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate actions.
• Secure property by locking access points after hours.
• Manage traffic, enforce parking rules, and assist during events or emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and security logs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to policies.

• 0-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields.

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and act appropriately under pressure.
• Knowledge of security procedures and equipment.
• Proficiency in incident report writing.
• Physical ability to patrol large areas and respond to emergencies.

• BCLS certification (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) required.
• IAHSS Security Officer certification or Facility Security Officer certification preferred.

• Various states require specific security licenses or certifications, such as security guard licenses or special training courses, to be completed within 30 days of employment.
