Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as needed. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.
This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license as you help maintain a secure environment for all personnel.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and observe for irregular or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to site protocols.
- Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as necessary to support a secure environment.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Remain alert to changing conditions within the location and adapt duties accordingly to support security-related operations.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
