Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and on ladders

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2,000 (select locations)
• Compensation based on skills, experience, and other factors
• Eligible for bonus incentives
