Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, install, adjust, maintain, and wire all electrical, in the plant or assigned areas including basic building and office distribution, control systems and devices, motors and drives with the exception of High Voltage Equipment.
- Use electronic, instrument, and control theory to install, repair, and maintain all types of electronics, instrument, and process control systems, through the plant.
- Access PLCs programs to diagnose issues and when necessary modify.
- Interpret, analyze and solve electrical problems.
- Plan electrical work from blueprints and reason through electrical problems.
- Use various tradesmen's tools in making electrical installations and repairs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Journeyman's status helpful.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
All shifts.up to $35.02per hour.
