Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

We are currently seeking a full-time Refrigeration Technician to join our fast-paced, well-respected, and thriving production team.
Competitive compensation ranging from $25.00 to $35.00/hour based on experience.
Steady, full-time day shift schedule (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM).

- Assemble and install new refrigeration systems as part of the manufacturing production process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
- Read manuals, follow written directions, and adapt knowledge to customized refrigeration specifications based on customer requirements.
- Utilize functional electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to complete daily production goals.
- Document system components and installation-specific details accurately.
- Perform physical duties including standing or walking for long periods, regularly lifting 15 lbs, frequently lifting 30 lbs, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Conduct independent research to continually learn and adapt to new industry practices.
- Working hours:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- HVAC Certification:
Active HVAC/R certification is strongly preferred. - Advanced Electrical Knowledge:
Comprehensive background in complex electrical schematics and troubleshooting.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/R field repair or installation. - Technical Aptitude:
Above average mechanical aptitude and a strong functional understanding of electrical work. - Engineering & Math:
Experience performing mechanical systems calculations. - Work Ethic:
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Organization & Adaptability:
Strong organizational skills to document component details and the ability to adapt to customized specifications.
