Contribute to the design, development and testing of an enterprise portal serving 1M users in an Agile development environment. Work closely with Information Architects, Senior Systems Engineers, Product Owners to address user needs, and with Creative Technologists to produce effective and functional solutions while maintaining design integrity across all project phases.

• Develop applications using C, Java (Spring framework), Type Script with React (Next.js framework), and Oracle databases. Document work and collaborate using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts and test scenarios for existing application enhancements based on documented change requests.
• Ensure projects are on track with due dates, testing, documentation, training and communicating with stakeholders and management.
• Analyze and solve problems, determine source of problems (e.g., application issues or user error).
• Independently work with users to identify and resolve application issues by corrective actions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain custom web sites and applications.
• Resolve all known defects prior to user acceptance testing.
• Provide custom reports for executive level staff.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience is preferred.
• Application and database expertise to include software design, development, implementation and maintenance.
• Skilled in data processing techniques, database management, and management information system concepts and applications.
• Cyber security remediation expertise to assure compliance with STIGS, OPORDS, and VDPs.
• Familiarity with continual integration/continual deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture (Git Lab), containerization technology (Docker), and deployment automation (Ansible, Helm)

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

The expected travel time is less than 25%.

Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling and working with small objects. • Pay range: $65k to $75k per year.
