Use your embedded software expertise to protect lives and advance national security technologies. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll stay hands‑on with embedded C programming while mentoring engineers, setting standards, and driving innovation across real‑time embedded systems.
What You’ll Do- Embedded C Development:
Architect and write bare‑metal embedded C software for microcontrollers (50%+ hands‑on coding). - Technical Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction, and act as a force multiplier for the team. - Program Ownership:
Ensure quality and consistency across deliverables as the technical owner. - Frameworks & Tools:
Develop reusable solutions to accelerate embedded software development. - Best Practices:
Establish processes, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering standards.
- 10–20 years of embedded software engineering experience (defense, aerospace, or mission‑critical systems preferred).
- Expertise in C programming (bare‑metal microcontroller experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS a plus), FPGA/VHDL, and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).
- Strong technical leadership and mentorship skills.
