We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering/Computer Science student with a focus on developing software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
What You Will Do:
* Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for complex systems and applications
* Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
* Functional analysis of real world and test data
* Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ensure technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables.
* Work alongside other members of the software team to analyze and develop software verification test cases and procedures. What You Will Learn:
* A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.
* Modern Dev Sec Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
* Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects. Qualifications You Must Have:
* Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide input to presentations to non-technical participants.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer:
* Experience developing GUI software using Java.
* Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
* Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit and Rational Team Concert.
* Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and senior leadership audiences.
* Self-motivated.
* Proven ability and desire to facilitate knowledge transfer.
* Experience in software development.
* Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.
* Familiarity with MS Office.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
