Battle Management Software (BMS) Department in Ft. Wayne, IN is looking to hire a Software Engineer to be part of the Command and Control (C2) Software development/maintenance team.
** What You Will Do
*** Be part of a successful team creating high-performance applications and be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
* Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for a large scale software development effort.
* Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
* Functional analysis of real world and test data
* Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter.
** What You Will Learn
*** A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.
* Modern Dev Sec Ops  and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
* Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
* This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
* Experience developing software using Java/C++/Ada.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Experience in OO and scripting languages
* Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using Java / C++ or modern software development language.
* Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
* Experience across the product development life cycle.
* Well developed communications skills and team collaboration skills.
* Self-motivated.
* Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer.
* Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.
* Familiarity with  MS Office.
