PURPOSE

Safely and efficiently transport students to and from school.

• Work Schedule: School year
• Work Hours: Morning routes typically occur between 6:00am-9:30am. Afternoon routes typically occur between 2:00om-5:00pm. Additional mid-day and after-school routes are available for bid by interested Bus Drivers.

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to perform assigned duties. Incumbents must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License issued by the State, meet State Department of Transportation physical requirements, and abstain from narcotic drug use and excessive drinking. The employee must have sufficient physical and mental abilities to operate a school bus in a safe manner.

FWCS is also actively hiring Substitute Bus Drivers for those seeking flexible schedules, morning routes only, afternoon routes only, etc. Substitute Bus Drivers are paid between $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on relevant experience.
