An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 5, 34 hours Staff Nurse/ODP within Theatres and Endoscopy at the Belford Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward‑thinking nurse/ODP to join our team. You will be committed to the delivery of quality patient care and providing support to the patients and staff within all areas of theatre (Anaesthetics, scrub, recovery and Endoscopy).

Our working hours are Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.30 with an additional on‑call service providing overnight and weekend emergency cover. You will need to be able to commit to participating in the on‑call rota overnight and at weekends (1 in 4 rota).

Theatre experience is essential.

• Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
