Support Worker

Being a support worker is a role where you can make every day matter. It's a job with challenges that make your heart beat faster, where you can give something of yourself and empower amazing people on their journey.

We are looking for Support Workers in Lochaber to provide support to a friendly and outgoing young man in his early twenties, helping him to live his best life, achieve his goals and enjoy the things that matter most to him.

This young man has a fun and outgoing personality and loves being the centre of attention. He leads a busy and fulfilling lifestyle and enjoys being involved in community events and activities. He regularly takes part in plays and has a passion for music. He also enjoys going to the gym, getting out and about, and going for walks. He communicates verbally and is easily understood once you get to know him, and he also uses Makaton when needed.

Family plays a hugely important role in his life, and he maintains close relationships with those around him.

No two days are the same and you’ll play an important role in helping him achieve his goals, pursue his interests and remain actively involved in his local community. An exciting aspect of this role will be supporting him as he prepares to move into his own home in the near future.
