We are currently seeking to recruit a Porter to join our team in Belford Hospital. The successful applicant’s role is to provide services to the Catering, Laundry and Domestic Services, including country and local runs, ward rounds and deliveries of stores.

• Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness in accordance with local infection control policies, Covid‑19 guidance, NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations.
• Adhere to specified cleaning schedules and promote maintenance of high standards of cleanliness throughout the environment.
• Meet Laundry Services requirements in line with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.

Full‑time permanent post, available to work Monday to Sunday. A full manual driving licence is required.

Rate of pay from £14.22 per hour, with an attractive weekend working rate.

Full comprehensive induction and training package provided.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
