An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Social Work Assistant Practitioner Referral Assessment Officer to join the Lochaber Adult Social Work Team. This temporary, part‑time position is 30 hours per week and will enable the right candidate to be part of a fully integrated adult social care service with NHS Highland.

The post is interesting and varied in nature, providing a social work service across the Lochaber area. The team is busy but supportive, and the role requires someone who can work autonomously yet effectively as part of a team.

• Conduct statutory work appropriate to the role.
• Carry out person‑centred, outcome‑focused assessments and reviews.
• Dealing with and managing a wide variety of situations and issues.
• Work effectively in a multi‑disciplinary way.
