Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to join a world-class audit function with excellent growth potential within the Textron enterprise. The Senior Audit Analyst will work as a key member of the audit team by performing audits of financial, IT, and compliance processes across all Textron business functions and industries for efficiency, effectiveness, and adequacy of financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
This position serves as a stepping stone for future roles within Textron’s many locations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audit work based on established audit plans and execute audits according to standards, ensuring completion within scope and budget.
- Contribute to the audit planning process during and after audits.
- Analyze and test key business processes to ensure a strong control environment and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with key personnel involved in business processes.
- Present and discuss audit findings and resolutions.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Travel approximately 30-50%, across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
- Explore future career development opportunities within Textron.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
Education/
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in accounting).
- Experience in accounting and/or auditing.
- Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
- ACL or SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
