Senior Executive Recruiter at LHH/Parker and LynchLHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of a multi-location organization operating in a highly regulated, consumer-focused industry. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting leader with a strong general ledger background who enjoys partnering closely with business unit leaders. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, lead a small team, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple operating entities.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, oversight, and performance feedback
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned business units and key stakeholders
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger activity
- Coordinate and review balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and month‑end closing entries
- Oversee the month‑end close process and ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements
- Review monthly balance sheets and profit‑and‑loss statements for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with the preparation and issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Review subsidiary and supporting schedules, including fixed assets, insurance, and prepaid amortization
- Support the setup of bank accounts, credit card processing, and sales tax accounts for new business units
- Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting supervisory or management role
- Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month‑end close processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing accounting staff
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience working with accounting systems
- Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with non‑finance stakeholders
