A Fort Worth-based leader in sports facility construction is hiring a Construction Bookkeeper to support fast-moving construction operations with accurate, deadline-driven accounting. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, owning project setup, budgets, billing, and compliance while partnering closely with project managers who are focused on getting work done. It’s hands-on, real construction accounting, and it matters every day.

Location:

Fort Worth, TX

• Set up project budgets, schedules of values, and monthly billings
• Prepare and manage AIA billings and change orders
• Handle subcontractor setup, billing, and documentation
• Support client compliance and job-level accounting requirements
• Partner with project managers to track costs, timelines, and updates
• Work within deadlines tied to monthly billing and project cycles
• Assist with general accounting and operational support as needed
• Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams

• 5+ years of construction accounting or construction bookkeeping experience
• Hands-on experience with project accounting, not admin-only roles
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, terminology, and billing
• Experience with AIA billing, change orders, and job cost accounting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-heavy environment
• Confident communicator who can build trust with project teams
• Experience with Foundation Accounting required;
  Procore exposure helpful
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience will be prioritized
