Billing Specialist | Downtown Fort Worth | Full-Time, In-Office

Ready to bring your billing skills to a firm with deep Texas roots? A highly respected, well-established downtown Fort Worth law firm is looking for a detail-driven Billing Specialist to join its accounting team.

You'll own the full billing cycle: turning attorney time into accurate invoices, submitting e-bills through client portals with UTBMS codes, and processing daily deposits. You'll also answer client invoice questions and partner with billing attorneys on A/R follow-up and collections.

What you bring:

+ 3+ years of A/R or billing experience with solid tenure

+ Billable-hour background (law firm, consulting, engineering, or agency)

+ Working Excel skills and comfort with billing software

+ E-billing experience (SurePoint or Aderant Bill Blast a plus)

+ Strong attention to detail and the discretion to handle confidential information

Requirements - Experience handling billing functions in a detail-oriented office environment, preferably within legal services.

- Working knowledge of legal billing practices, including invoice preparation, statement review, and account follow-up.

- Proficiency with computerized billing systems and general office software.

- Ability to manage billing collections with professionalism and attention to client service.

- Understanding of contractual billing requirements and the ability to apply client-specific guidelines accurately.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and responding to billing inquiries.
