As part of the HCVT Fort Worth team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a tax practice that is focused on serving clientele in the Alternative Investment Management industries. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Review federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts and related income tax work papers

Prepare complex client work and delegate entry level work to staff accountants

Take ownership and organize workflow of client engagements, ensuring filing deadlines are met Supervise and manage expectations of engagement teams, staff accountants and/or interns on your teams

Responsible for meeting engagement timelines and budget guidelines, and provide job status to partners, managers, and client personnel in a timely manner

Identify tax issues and propose strategies to resolve them Effectively and efficiently research technical tax issues

Respond to and prepare correspondence for state & federal tax authorities

Develop strong relationships with firm professionals and clients
