Supply Chain Contracts Professional, MV-75. We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering, including the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort, the Bell 525 Relentless, and the High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program. This position is onsite at our Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX.
Supply Chain - Contracts (Across Multiple Levels).
- Evaluates new, current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts, preparing and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs).
- Facilitates the bid evaluation and down-selection process.
- Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations, employing cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools to advance the commodity’s key supply chain objectives, and finalizes contract awards.
- Negotiates with the supply base to meet internal objectives.
- Builds collaborative relationships with vendors and internally across Bell’s engineering, manufacturing, finance, and military program teams.
- Ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements with all activities.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Commodity Management, supplier relationships, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, project management.
- Analytical experience in a commodity.
- Supply chain management in new product development.
- Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.
- Proficient business acumen.
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity.
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of 2 years of general supply chain procurement experience. Professional experience with DOD / USG Procurement Contracts for military / defense industry strategic sourcing is preferred.
