Job Summary:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and accurately processing retail and lease contracts within the portfolio system. This role ensures compliance with state regulations and client requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to identify discrepancies, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Audit retail and lease contracts using multiple internal systems.
* Verify contract data for accuracy and communicate the reason if incorrect.
* Validate supporting documentation to meet state and client requirements.
* Ensure financial calculations are correct and consistent; general knowledge of adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying is required.
* Validate calculations to ensure financial information presented is accurate.
* Identify inconsistencies and follow established processes.
* Communicate effectively with regional and dealership personnel.
* Adapt to frequent changes, including overtime with limited notice.
* Maintain productivity in a deadline-driven environment.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Quick learner with a proactive mindset.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Moderate computer proficiency; able to multitask across systems.
* Ability to follow processes and identify inconsistencies in information presented.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Comfortable with frequent changes and dynamic workflows.
Education
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Preferred Experience
* General Accounting - 1 year
* General Business - 1 year
* Proficient in Administration - 1 year
* Experience in contract auditing or financial documentation review.
