About the Role

Kids Kindness is seeking a warm, energetic Instructor to lead a short, skills-based program that helps children (ages 5–12) practice empathy, gratitude, respectful communication, and community‑minded action. You’ll guide a weekly 60-minute class with hands‑on activities, role‑play, and simple service‑themed projects—creating a supportive, inclusive space for kids to grow.

What You’ll Do
  • Facilitate engaging weekly lessons that build social–emotional skills (empathy, kindness, conflict resolution, inclusion).

  • Lead age‑appropriate activities: team games, reflection circles, gratitude journals, kindness challenges, and craft‑based micro‑service projects.

  • Set clear expectations and manage behavior positively; differentiate activities by age group (5–8 vs. 9–12 when needed).

  • Communicate with families at drop‑off/pick‑up; share brief progress highlights and class themes.

  • Prepare materials, set up/tear down, and keep the space tidy and safe.

  • Track attendance and simple weekly notes; submit brief recap to the site lead.

  • Uphold all safety, emergency, and facility policies.

You Have
  • Experience working with children ages 5–12 (teaching, coaching, mentoring, camp, after‑school, or youth programs).

  • Friendly, patient presence and strong classroom management.

  • Clear, positive communication with kids and parents.

  • Reliability and professionalism; punctual and organized.

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Requirements
