Are you passionate about safety and ready to make an impact where it matters most? As a Construction Safety Manager with Cummings Electrical, you’ll play a key role in driving our Safety First culture across large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout the DFW area. You’ll work directly with project teams to ensure compliance, champion best practices, and foster a proactive approach to keeping our people safe and our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Safety Manager is responsible for overall SSSP execution, including, but not limited to management of Subcontractor Safety Coordinators. Sub-tier management, case & care Management.
- Oversee activities related to electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
- Ensure safety remains a top priority on every job site at all times.
- Work closely with project teams to develop and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC).
- Report directly to the Health and Safety Director.
- Craft training, safety administration, work coordination, and high-risk activity planning and development.
- BS Occupational Safety & Health required.
- 12-15 years relevant construction experience, or Certified Safety Professional (as recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals).
- Two 2 years of relevant construction experience.
- Minimum OSHA 510.
- Minimum Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Board of certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if needed.
- NFPA 70E and LOTO.
- First Aid, Narcan, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
- CPR and AED Training.
- Emergency Procedures Training.
- Mental Health First Aid Training.
