Overview
We are seeking a Pipe fitting Superintendent to oversee pipe fitting operations on a specific commercial construction job site. In this role, you will ensure high‑quality installation of mechanical systems, manage field crews, maintain schedules, and drive jobsite safety and productivity.

- Oversee and supervise pipe fitting activities on the job site.
- Provide leadership and direction to the field team, reviewing work for completion and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule day‑to‑day job activities of piping crew and subcontractors in accordance with job‑specific scopes of work.
- Monitor and resolve matters related to work procedures, complaints, damages, accidents, and delays.
- Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Ensure safety standards are met and submit required safety reports at the job site or to the GC.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and construction management to determine budget and timeline.
- Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organize meetings, and cooperate with team members in various roles as necessary.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet varying safety and compliance regulations on the job site.
- Relevant experience: minimum of 5 years of pipe fitting.
- Journeyman or higher license preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass a background check.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Strong project scheduling and deadline‑management skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions.
